Ingredients:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 7 oz marshmallow creme
- 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1 tsp fresh lemon zest
Instructions:
- Place the softened cream cheese in a medium mixing bowl and beat with an electric hand mixer on medium speed for 60 seconds until the texture is smooth and glossy to prevent lumps.
- Add the entire jar of marshmallow creme to the bowl. Start the mixer on low speed to contain the creme, then gradually increase to medium-high.
- Whip the mixture for 2–3 minutes until it reaches a uniform color and forms soft peaks when the beaters are lifted.
- Scrape down the sides of the bowl and fold in the vanilla extract and lemon zest. Transfer to a serving bowl and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
