Ingredients:
- 3 large Eggs
- 1/2 cup Whole Milk
- 1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1/4 tsp Sea Salt
- 1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1 pinch Ground Nutmeg
- 3 tbsp Unsalted Butter
Instructions:
- Place a 10-inch cast iron skillet on the middle rack of the oven and preheat to 400°F (200°C).
- Once preheated, add 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter to the hot skillet. Allow it to melt and foam until golden and nutty, but remove before it browns excessively.
- In a high-speed blender, combine eggs, milk, flour, salt, vanilla, and nutmeg. Pulse on high for 30 seconds until the mixture is frothy and completely smooth.
- Carefully remove the hot skillet from the oven. Immediately pour the batter into the center of the melted butter.
- Return the skillet to the oven and bake for 15 minutes until the edges have climbed the sides of the pan and are dark golden brown.
