Ingredients:
- 250g all-purpose flour
- 180ml warm water (110°F)
- 7g instant yeast
- 25g granulated sugar
- 3g salt
- 15ml vegetable oil
- 60g unsalted butter, softened
- 100g light brown sugar
- 8g ground cinnamon
- 5ml vanilla extract
- 120g powdered sugar
- 40ml heavy cream
- 2ml vanilla bean paste
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, whisk the warm water, granulated sugar, and instant yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- Stir in the vegetable oil, salt, and all-purpose flour. Knead the mixture for approximately 5 minutes until the dough is smooth and tacky.
- Cover the dough and let it rest for 10 minutes to relax the gluten.
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Press the rested dough out onto a greased 12-inch pizza pan or rimmed baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, light brown sugar, cinnamon, and 5ml vanilla extract to create a thick paste. Spread this mixture over the dough in a swirl pattern.
- Bake the pizza for 12 minutes until the edges are golden brown and the cinnamon topping is bubbling.
- While the pizza bakes, whisk together the powdered sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla bean paste to create the glaze.
- Allow the pizza to cool for 2 minutes, then drizzle the vanilla cream glaze over the top using a piping bag or Ziploc bag.
