Ingredients:

  • 250g all-purpose flour
  • 180ml warm water (110°F)
  • 7g instant yeast
  • 25g granulated sugar
  • 3g salt
  • 15ml vegetable oil
  • 60g unsalted butter, softened
  • 100g light brown sugar
  • 8g ground cinnamon
  • 5ml vanilla extract
  • 120g powdered sugar
  • 40ml heavy cream
  • 2ml vanilla bean paste

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, whisk the warm water, granulated sugar, and instant yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Stir in the vegetable oil, salt, and all-purpose flour. Knead the mixture for approximately 5 minutes until the dough is smooth and tacky.
  3. Cover the dough and let it rest for 10 minutes to relax the gluten.
  4. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Press the rested dough out onto a greased 12-inch pizza pan or rimmed baking sheet.
  5. In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, light brown sugar, cinnamon, and 5ml vanilla extract to create a thick paste. Spread this mixture over the dough in a swirl pattern.
  6. Bake the pizza for 12 minutes until the edges are golden brown and the cinnamon topping is bubbling.
  7. While the pizza bakes, whisk together the powdered sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla bean paste to create the glaze.
  8. Allow the pizza to cool for 2 minutes, then drizzle the vanilla cream glaze over the top using a piping bag or Ziploc bag.
