Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp Unsalted Butter
- 1 tbsp Granulated White Sugar
- 1 tbsp Packed Light Brown Sugar
- 3 drops Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1 pinch Sea Salt
- 1 tbsp Whole Milk
- 0.25 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 2 tbsp Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
Instructions:
- Place the butter in a microwave-safe ceramic mug and microwave for 15-20 seconds until just liquified. Ensure you use a ceramic mug for even heat distribution.
- Stir in the white sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt. Whisk with a fork until the mixture resembles wet sand.
- Integrate the milk (or optional egg yolk) and whisk until smooth.
- Gently fold in the flour using a spoon or fork until no white streaks remain, being careful not to over-mix.
- Fold in 1.5 tablespoons of chocolate chips, then press the remaining 0.5 tablespoon into the top of the dough.
- Microwave on high power for 50 to 60 seconds. The center should look slightly wet.
- Allow the cookie to rest for 2 minutes to set before serving.
