Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 1 tbsp Granulated White Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Packed Light Brown Sugar
  • 3 drops Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1 pinch Sea Salt
  • 1 tbsp Whole Milk
  • 0.25 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 tbsp Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips

Instructions:

  1. Place the butter in a microwave-safe ceramic mug and microwave for 15-20 seconds until just liquified. Ensure you use a ceramic mug for even heat distribution.
  2. Stir in the white sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt. Whisk with a fork until the mixture resembles wet sand.
  3. Integrate the milk (or optional egg yolk) and whisk until smooth.
  4. Gently fold in the flour using a spoon or fork until no white streaks remain, being careful not to over-mix.
  5. Fold in 1.5 tablespoons of chocolate chips, then press the remaining 0.5 tablespoon into the top of the dough.
  6. Microwave on high power for 50 to 60 seconds. The center should look slightly wet.
  7. Allow the cookie to rest for 2 minutes to set before serving.
