Ingredients:

- 2 tbsp Unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp Granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp Baking powder
- 1 pinch Fine sea salt
- 1/4 cup Whole milk
- 2 tbsp Neutral oil
- 1/2 tsp Pure vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp Semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
- In a 12-ounce microwave-safe mug, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt until no large cocoa clumps remain.
- Add the milk, oil, and vanilla extract. Whisk vigorously until the batter is glossy and smooth with no dry flour streaks at the bottom.
- Place the chocolate chips directly into the center of the batter. Do not stir; let them sit in the center to create the molten lava effect.
- Microwave on high for 60 seconds. The top should be set but slightly shiny. Allow to cool for 1 minute before serving to let the crumb structure stabilize.
