Ingredients:

  • 1 package (14.3 oz) Oreo Cookies
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 packages (3.4 oz each) instant chocolate or vanilla pudding mix
  • 3 cups whole milk, cold
  • 1 container (12 oz) Cool Whip
  • 5 oz gummy worms
  • Fresh mint sprigs for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Place the entire package of Oreos in a food processor and pulse until they look like coarse garden soil. Don't over process into a fine powder or it will lose the dirt texture.
  2. Mix 1/3 of the crumbs with 4 tbsp of melted butter and press into the bottom of your dish.
  3. Beat 8 oz cream cheese and 1/2 cup softened butter together until the mixture is pale and silky.
  4. Sift in 1 cup powdered sugar and continue beating until fully incorporated.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine 3 cups cold milk and both pudding mixes, whisking for 2 minutes until it begins to thicken.
  6. Gently stir the pudding into the cream cheese base, then fold in the 12 oz of Cool Whip until no white streaks remain.
  7. Pour the filling over the cookie base and smooth it out with a spatula.
  8. Sprinkle the remaining cookie crumbs over the top until the filling is completely hidden.
  9. Press the gummy worms into the dirt and refrigerate until the center doesn't jiggle when shaken.
  10. Add mint sprigs right before serving to keep them looking vibrant and fresh.
