Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (150g) fresh pineapple, cubed
  • 1 cup (160g) cantaloupe or honeydew melon, cubed
  • 1/2 cup (75g) strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1/2 cup (75g) seedless grapes
  • 1/2 cup (75g) fresh blueberries
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp (5ml) fresh lime juice

Instructions:

  1. Wash all produce thoroughly. Cut the pineapple and melon into uniform 1-inch (2.5cm) cubes. Halve the strawberries lengthwise.
  2. Place the cubed pineapple and melon into a mixing bowl. Drizzle with the lemon and lime juices, tossing gently to create a protective barrier against oxidation.
  3. Thread the fruit onto soaked bamboo skewers using a firm-soft-firm pattern: start with a pineapple cube, followed by a blueberry, a strawberry half, a grape, a melon cube, and finish with a pineapple cube.
  4. Press the fruit firmly together to eliminate gaps and ensure stability.
